Equatorial Guinea Ambassador commends Okorocha’s free education programme

The Equatorial Guinea Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Job Obiang has commended Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State for his administration’s free education programme which has made the burden associated with education to be very light especially for the less privileged people including a good number of Equatorial Guinea nationals schooling in Imo State.

He made this commendation during his visit at the Government House, Owerri yesterday.

Mr Obiang who visited Governor Okorocha in the company of some dignitaries from Ethiopia said he was in Imo State on a social visit.

Speaking to journalists at the Government House, Obiang said he is happy that some citizens of Equatorial Guinea are also beneficiaries of Governor Okorocha’s free education programme, adding this act of magnanimity by Governor Okorocha has made him an exceptional leader. He said Governor Okorocha is making plans to spread his free education programme to other countries by building schools in some African countries for the benefit of the less privileged.
Obiang thanked the government and people of Imo State for their hospitality and expressed satisfaction at the warm reception which members of his team were given upon their arrival in the state.
